Multiple room options available to hire for your next event
Rearsby Village Hall provides a range of rooms available for hire for any occassion. The committee room serves as an excellent choice for small meetings, while the computer room offers an ideal learning environment. As for larger gatherings, the main hall proves to be the perfect venue. With a well-equipped kitchen at hand, catering for any occasion becomes effortless.
Main Hall
Spacious and stunning venue for any occasion
This venue is the perfect space for a variety of events. With plenty of space and natural light, it sets a beautiful atmosphere for any occasion. The hall features stunning solid wood beams and oak flooring. It can easily accommodate weddings, parties, fundraising events, business conferences, lectures, workshops, and large classes. The versatility of the space also makes it suitable for activities requiring room for movement, such as exercise or dance.
For theatrical and musical productions, concerts, and presentations, the hall offers a large stage (8m x 4m x 9m) with curtains and a backstage area. Additionally, there is a pull-down cinema screen equipped with an overhead digital projection system, perfect for film screenings and slide shows.
State-of-the-art sound and light equipment are also available to all hall users. This includes a quadrophonic sound system, high-quality stage lighting with spotlights and footlights, stage-mounted speakers, and a portable microphone system. Operating these features is made simple with user-friendly consoles.
The hall is 17m x 12m x 10m (at the apex) and is designed to comfortably seat 100 people in close proximity or 100 at tables.
For events with a combination of seating and dancing, it can accommodate 80 guests.
Children’s parties can easily host 80 individuals, including everyone on the premises.
Furthermore, the main hall is equipped with a closed-loop induction hearing system, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.
Committee Room
Perfect for small meetings!
The committee room is great for small group meetings, classes, businesses, and committees, this room is equipped with internet access and can comfortably accommodate up to 25 people.
While it is completely self-contained, the committee room conveniently connects to the kitchen through a door and features a hatch leading to the main hall, offering additional serving options for larger events.
Computer Room
An ideal learning environment
The village hall features an upstairs room equipped with multiple power access points, as well as a small presentation screen and whiteboard. This setup makes it an ideal space for hosting courses and classes for small groups, where participants can bring their laptops or devices for productive work.
Kitchen
Cook up a storm!
The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances including a double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge, among others. It is well-stocked with ample crockery and cutlery to cater to gatherings of up to 100 people.
It also features a spacious serving hatch that connects the kitchen to the main hall and a door that serves the committee room.
Hire Charges
Hire Rearsby Village Hall for your event
Kindly find the hire charges listed below. All bookings come with complete access to our kitchen facilities.
Deposits are 1.5x your hire charge and are intended to cover any potential damage or cleaning requirements. Rest assured that deposits will be fully refunded if the premises are left in a satisfactory condition.
All individual events such as parties, gatherings etc must be booked in 4, 6, 9 or 15 hour time slots. These slots are inclusive of set up and clearing down time.
